About the Role
A User Experience (UX) Designer focuses on enhancing the overall user satisfaction and usability of a product by creating intuitive and visually appealing interfaces. They conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and preferences. UX Designers use this information to develop wireframes, prototypes, and user flows, collaborating with cross-functional teams including product managers and developers. They play a crucial role in designing and optimizing the user journey, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. UX Designers also conduct usability testing, gather feedback, and iterate on designs to improve user interactions. Strong communication skills, creativity, and a user-centric approach are essential for success in this role.
Job Duties
Supervise other graphic designers or graphic arts technicians
Adapt existing illustrations
Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations inorder to meet their communications needs
Co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronicmaterials
Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients' objectives
Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements
Use existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides
Perform various administrative functions
Requirements
Languages: English
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience.
Successful experience in technical sales is required
Experience: 2 years to less than 5 years
Personal Suitability: Accurate, Client focus, Excellent written communication, Initiative, Organized, Excellent oral communication
